FOR THE PRINT AD
1. Decide what this product is really about 2. Research your target audience 3. Discover the unique features & selling points of the product 4. Know who or what is the competition 5. Ask what is the personality of the product? 6. Decide how it should be represented visually as an image & in typography as a font 7. Does it need an Icon to symbolize it? 8. Create a catchy Slogan 9. Decide what information should be in the body text 10. Design a Lay Out.
FOR THE TV AD
1. Divide the script page into AUDIO + FX & VISUAL 2. Brain Storm a Creative Idea that will convey what you have developed in the print ad 3. Transfer the idea into a Visual Dramatic Story 4. Develop the scenario by choosing a location & characters 3. Ad Dialogue (if needed) 4. Choose Music
